Privacy Policy
Last updated July 16, 2026
This policy explains what information Olypse Labs LLC (“Olypse,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website and waitlist, why we collect it, who processes it, and the rights and choices you have. We collect as little as possible, on purpose. Olypse Labs LLC is the data controller for the information described here; contact us any time at contact@olypse.com.
01What we collect
- Email address — when you submit it to join the waitlist.
- Signup context — which form you used and the page that referred you, so we understand where signups come from.
- IP address and request metadata — used transiently to rate-limit the form and prevent spam and abuse. Not stored alongside your email.
- A local flag in your browser — stored on your device only (localStorage), to remember that you already signed up. It never leaves your browser and is not a tracking cookie.
We do not ask for your name, do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and do not build profiles.
02Why we use it (and our legal bases)
- To run the waitlist — store your email and contact you when access opens (with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, where it applies).
- To send occasional product updates about Olypse — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To protect the Site — rate limiting, spam filtering, and bot protection (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, where it applies).
We do not sell or rent your information, ever, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.
03Who processes it
A small set of providers process data on our behalf, under their own data-processing agreements: Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting), and — if enabled — Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection, which may process technical browser signals to distinguish humans from bots). These providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
04Retention
We keep your email for as long as the waitlist and early-access program run, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Rate-limiting data is ephemeral and expires automatically within minutes. Server logs are retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and debugging.
05Security
The waitlist database is locked down so that it cannot be read or written from the browser; all writes go through our server using restricted credentials. Traffic to the Site is encrypted in transit (TLS). No system is perfectly secure, but the attack surface here is deliberately tiny.
06Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you, object to or restrict our processing of it, and withdraw consent at any time — just email contact@olypse.com and we’ll act promptly. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the rights above cover those granted by the CCPA; note that we do not sell or share personal information as defined there.
07Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
08Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version; material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
